The Crawford County Conservation District has applied for a District Grant from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Division to host a Field Day for 2023/2024. We should know if this grant is approved by July 2023. With Field Days, we can assist landowners with conservation planning and help educate the public on current conservation programs that are available. Our conservation partners share their knowledge, experiences and provide technical expertise to landowners and local producers during these field days. We highlight our host farmers/producers who demonstrate how they take care of the soil and share how they are being good stewards of the land. Our main objective through these field days is to promote agriculture through the use of best management practices.
